Hi! We're the Bloom Red Project.
We are a community project servicing the Peel Region and the Greater Toronto Area. We work tirelessly to provide menstrual products to those in need, make changes through policy and eradicate period stigma in our community through many educational campaigns
Our Mission Statement.
The Bloom Red Project recognizes the difference in period experiences and struggles each menstruator faces daily and hopes to bridge the gap of inequality and stigma to make for a better, safer and accepting community. Bloom Red will donate period products to those in need, educate our community, and work towards making policy changes.

Our Story.
The Bloom Red Project was founded in the summer of 2020 by Krystal Grover and Susan Zhou, two high schoolers who were passionate about diminishing the stigma around menstruation and addressing the exacerbating effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on menstrual poverty. Our namesake "Bloom Red" comes from our belief that menstruation should be seen as a "flower", something that is seen universally as beautiful and natural instead of a taboo subject. The color red is seen as a color of strength and the color of warriors, a concept we believe is fitting for menstruators.
Together we learn, together we grow, together we bloom.
